Patients with autoimmune diseases have a new on-line way to help become involved with public policy discussions about access to the care they need.
We are proud to announce a link to the Prescription Drug Assistance Foundation, PDAF, exclusively for A3 member organizations. With the help of PDAF, our members can learn if they qualify for financial assistance from the manufacturer of brand name pharmaceuticals prescribed by their healthcare provider.
It’s particularly important for people living with autoimmune diseases to ensure that they have continual access to effective medications.
The Prescription Drug Assistance Foundation, PDAF, was created by the Washington State legislature to provide assistance for patients where prescription drug coverage is inadequate. This includes patients currently under private insurance plans, Medicaid and plans offered on the health care exchange.
It’s particularly important for people living with autoimmune diseases to ensure that they have continual access to effective medications. A3 acknowledges the PDAF board for their leadership in helping to ensure that our members have a dedicated resource for assistance in this matter. The organization has a proven record of success for getting access and assistance from the drug manufacturers.
